PRESIDENT'S ADVISORY COUNCIL

The President’s Advisory Council was formed in 2005 and meets annually in Chicago. It is composed of former Chairs of the Board of Trustees, Trustees of notably long service or generosity, and alumni and non-alumni with deep knowledge of the Great Books movement in general and Shimer College history in particular.

Its principal purpose is to provide both historical perspective and current strategic support to the President, with an initial charge to assist in the transition to Shimer's new campus in Chicago.
