On February 28, 2009, the Hutchins Institute of Shimer College will begin spring semester courses of its Teaching Fellows Program. The first section of the Natural Sciences sequence, "From Light to Life", will be offered every third Saturday for a total of seven sessions. Classes are taught on the IIT campus at 3424 S. State Street, Chicago. The program is designed for active teachers holding a teaching certificate, although all persons prepared for rigorous graduate level work are welcome.
