Daniela, Aron, and Adam were selected from among more than 80 candidates for faculty positions following an exhaustive national search. Their presence at Shimer will be most welcome. "The student body at Shimer is growing at a tremendous rate," observes David Shiner, Dean of the College. "We needed to bring in qualified faculty members who can hit the ground running and are likely to be with us for a long time. We're confident that these three candidates fill the bill, and we're excited to have them join the Shimer faculty."
